Dr. Sascha Klett has been the Executive Board member responsible for technology at ZIEHL-ABEGG SE since July 2021. He is responsible for the technical areas of ventilation and drive technology as well as quality. In addition, he has been Technical Managing Director of ZIEHL-ABEGG AUTOMOTIVE GmbH & Co. KG since January 2019, where he manages research, development, purchasing, production and processes.
Sascha Klett was born in Backnang in 1972, he is married and has 2 children.
He has been an active member of the volunteer fire department for more than 30 years. After completing his military service, he graduated in process engineering from the University of Stuttgart in 1999. Subsequently, he completed his doctorate on the subject of high-temperature flows with thermal radiation in exhaust gas sensor technology. He joined the Bosch Group in 2004 in the area of exhaust gas sensor development and was responsible, among other things, for the simulation and design of exhaust gas sensors. In 2012, he moved to the joint venture between Bosch and Daimler (EM-motive) and was responsible for development as a member of the management board. In 2014, he joined the ZIEHL-ABEGG-Group as technical manager of ZIEHL-ABEGG AUTOMOTIVE.

The main driver for me is curiosity. I want to know how things work and I am always impressed, how nature solved the challenges of life.
Another driver is to improve the world for our children. I am optimistic that we will find solutions for all challenges we are facing in the moment.
