This panel convenes esteemed industry leaders, and MES authorities, to underscore the imperative of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) in fortifying compliance, operational efficiency, and data veracity within (GMP) environments. Central to this discourse is the emphasis on strategic planning and the deployment of MES, defining and monitoring successful implementation Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), advocating for a ‘doing it right the first time’ ethos as the cornerstone of any MES project strategy. The conversation will pivot to the strategic design of digital processes to foster reusable elements, thereby expediting organizational scaling and the seamless onboarding of new processes. Passionate about continuous learning and personal development, he delivered 225+ hours of softskills trainings to students and young professionals all around Europe. 3 years of Associative experience at the European Pharmaceutical Students' Association, one of them as Vice President with a high level of English and Portuguese. Passionate about the fight against cancer and interested in immunology. Worked for the European Society for Paediatric Oncology, representing Healthcare Professionals in the field of Paediatric Oncology in the European Policy environment together with patient, parent and survivor advocates.
I am an enthusiastic MES Business Solutions Manager with experience in delivering site wide digitalization projects ranging from environmental monitoring, MES and eLogs systems that interface with ERP’s LIMS, Data historians etc. My experience in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry ranges from direct patient care, bioscience reagent manufacture, hospital diagnostics and human and animal pharmaceuticals. I have been an IBMS licensed biomedical scientist, worked in QC laboratories and now work to digitalize operations at the Lonza Netherlands Cell and Gene plant which currently includes allogeneic, autologous and mRNA modalities.
My main experience with MES systems lies with MODA ES, Lonza’s own next generation MES solution for eBR and eLogs. I lead an interdisciplinary team to bring this solution to the shop floor.
Outside of my core function I enjoy implementing systems to improve efficiency and drive operational improvements.
